The décor is a similar stripped down approach that deconstructs things down to the basics. Also, the retractable type wall (kind of like a glass garage door) will be great in the summer. Score! Not to mention, the owner is a fox and likes to mingle with the clientele. Score again!
I ordered the 67 Special Burger with blue cheese and bacon. The bacon was counter-intuitively hidden under the burger patty. Until then I always thought "toppings" (hence, the name) went on top of the patty, but at first, I liked this surprise back-door approach. The blue cheese was on top of the patty and a little liquidy and almost looked like cottage cheese. (It wasn't though.)
Bun to burger ratio was solid, with an almost surplus of meat. The sesame seed buns were toasted. When my bottom bun disintegrated from burger juice, all of my bacon (because stuffed under the patty) fell onto my plate. Roger pointed out that the bacon was on the dry side so this may have not been a bad thing.
Also, Roger and Bex's burgers did not disintegrate in the same way mine did. They had cheeseburgers (cheddar), and Roger had bacon. Bex had the fried artichokes, which she thought were a bit too greasy.
For sides, we ordered the spicy curly fries, which were good, but not spicy. I noticed that curly fries can sometimes be hard to dip into ketchup because there's a part of the curl that just isn't going to hit ketchup unless you end up breaking the circle in half or end up taking really small bites, essentially making a straight fry through eating the curl. This proved somewhat frustrating as I see fries as basically an instrument of potato that shovels ketchup in my mouth so anything that hinders this action (i.e. the curl) is not useful.
For dessert, Bex and I split the beer shake, which was delectable (although a mixed reaction from a non-beer lover), and Roger had a root beer float, which was frothy and delicious.
All in all, a good burger place with friendly service. 4 cows.

I loved what the owner said. "Nothing stops the burger." Genius. I told him I wanted that on a t-shirt.
Long live BurgerClub... BurgerClub.org that is.
I've heard a lot about this place. Not sure your review convinced me it's worth moving up my to do list.
Love your site though and named checked you on mine today while having a little fun.
