reminds me of when I was in sub-saharan west africa. ouagadougou, burkina faso. i was in that part of africa for about a month but based out of this capital city. we had to go to an internet cafe to check email every now and again, and although there were closer ones we chose this one bc my friend who had lived there for years had extensively searched for the best burger in this capital city

Just to make a correction on the feedbag lift - I was misquoted by Cutlets and the 96 burgers he was referring to in the book were griddled, not smashed. I did a count however and the number of smashed burgers was close to half of the 100 in my book.

Thanks for the note Jerry. Peter Luger's burger is great burger but since they only offer it at lunch its been difficult to get the entire BCNY club together for an outing. We'll definitely work on getting that review up. Thanks for the reminder

That is a good point Carrie. We thought it might be something like that and probably should have asked more about the preparation while we were ordering.I've definitely had grass-fed burgers I've loved so I'm not going to let this affect my overall opinion on grass-fed burgers. But either way it was still disappointing.
